COMAN T1 Mini Launches on Kickstarter

The COMAN T1 Mini is now on Kickstarter. The launch introduces a carbon fiber travel tripod with one-touch setup, bringing a new option to photographers who move between locations and want a support system that fits a mobile shooting routine.

From a sunrise landscape to a solo travel portrait, setting up the camera is part of making the photograph. The T1 Mini puts that process at the center of its design.

One-Touch Setup for Changing Locations

COMAN says the T1 Mini’s one-touch system is designed to deploy the tripod in about three seconds. It also features an Arca-style quick-release mount for attaching a prepared camera setup.

A quick setup can be useful when the light is changing or a stop is brief. It leaves more attention for the frame: finding a foreground, adjusting the viewpoint, or waiting for someone to move into position. For a photographer working alone, a straightforward routine can also make moving between camera positions less disruptive.

Compact Carbon Fiber Design

The official campaign FAQ lists 10-layer 3K carbon fiber construction, a folded length of 533 mm, a maximum height of 1,595 mm, and a rated total payload of 6 kg.

Travel photography often means carrying equipment for much longer than it is in use. Packing dimensions matter on those days, while working height becomes important when it is time to compose. The T1 Mini’s published specifications give photographers a clear starting point for planning how it would fit into their travel kit.

Flexible Framing and Accessory Options

The T1 Mini includes three leg-angle positions and a reversible, removable center column. COMAN also lists 1/4-inch expansion ports for compatible accessories, with the DP59 phone mount available as an optional accessory.

Different camera positions invite different photographs. A lower viewpoint can bring attention to foreground details, while a fixed frame is useful when making repeated compositions or stepping into a photograph yourself. Photographers exploring close-up subjects or switching between a camera and a phone can consider these options in the context of their own shooting style.
